(株式会社corecty, "we," "us," or "our") establishes this Privacy Policy ("Policy") for the smartphone application Kyoiru|Family Check-In ("Service") in order to handle users' personal information appropriately and comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan and other applicable laws and regulations.

Article 2. Personal Information We Collect
We collect the following personal information in connection with providing the Service.
Information directly provided by users:
・Name or display name (nickname)
・Email address when email magic link authentication is used
・Profile image
Information obtained through authentication services:
・Profile information provided through Apple login and LINE login, such as display name, email address, and identifiers
Information automatically collected through use of the Service:
・Check-in information, mood stamps, and other posting logs
・Location information, only when the user has expressly permitted it
・Push notification tokens
・Device information, such as OS type and version and device identifiers
・Access logs, such as connection time and IP address
・App usage and operation logs, including crash reports
Article 3. Purposes of Use
We use collected personal information within the scope of the following purposes.
(1) Providing, operating, maintaining, and improving the Service
(2) User authentication and account management
(3) Providing friend and watch-over features, including sharing check-in information
(4) Sending push notifications
(5) Managing subscriptions and processing payments
(6) Responding to user inquiries
(7) Detecting and preventing abuse and ensuring security
(8) Sending important notices about the Service
(9) Analyzing usage and producing statistical information to improve service quality
(10) Responding as required by laws and regulations
Article 4. Provision to Third Parties
Except in any of the following cases, we will not provide personal information to third parties without the user's consent.
(1) When required by laws and regulations
(2) When necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property and obtaining the user's consent is difficult
(3) When especially necessary to improve public health or promote the sound growth of children and obtaining the user's consent is difficult
(4) When cooperation is necessary for a national government agency, local public entity, or a party entrusted by them to perform duties prescribed by law
Article 5. Provision to Service Providers
We may entrust the handling of personal information to external service providers to the extent necessary to operate the Service. In such cases, we exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over those providers.

・Supabase, for authentication, database, and storage
・Render, for API hosting
・Apple Inc., for payments and push notifications
・Google LLC, for push notifications and platform services where applicable
・LINE Corporation, for LINE login authentication
・Expo, for app build, distribution, and push-related app services where applicable
Article 6. Handling of Location Information
The Service uses location information to provide watch-over features. Location information is collected only when the user permits it through OS permission settings. We do not use location information for purposes other than providing Service features. Users may stop providing location information at any time through OS settings.
Article 7. Personal Information of Minors
The Service is intended for users aged 13 or older. Persons under 13 may not use the Service. Users aged 13 or older but under 18 must use the Service with consent from a parent or guardian.
Article 8. Security Control Measures
We implement the following security control measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information.
・Encryption of communications using TLS
・Management and restriction of access privileges
・Regular security reviews
・Measures to detect unauthorized access
Article 9. Retention Period and Deletion
We retain personal information for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of use. When a user deletes their account, we will delete related personal information in order without undue delay. If the user logs in using the same authentication method before deletion processing is completed, the account may be restored. After the 30-day purge process is completed, the account cannot be restored, and data that has already been deleted cannot be restored. However, we may retain information for the period required by law in the following cases.
・When we have a legal obligation
・When necessary for dispute or inquiry handling, up to one year
・When necessary to prevent abuse
Article 10. Requests for Disclosure, Correction, Deletion, and Other Actions
Users may make the following requests regarding their personal information held by us under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan.
・Notification of purpose of use
・Disclosure, including records of third-party provision
・Correction, addition, or deletion of content
・Suspension of use or erasure
・Suspension of provision to third parties

Article 11. Cookies and Analytics Tools
The Service app does not directly use cookies, but we may use crash reports and usage analytics tools to improve service quality. Collected information is processed statistically and is not used to identify individuals.
Article 12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may change this Policy due to changes in laws or changes to the Service. If we make important changes, we will notify users through in-app notices, email, or other appropriate methods. The revised Policy becomes effective when posted in the app.
